Brugal & Co. has been crafting rum since 1888, making it one of the oldest and most esteemed rum producers in the Caribbean. Brugal Añejo is made from fermented molasses, distilled using a continuous column still, and aged in American white oak barrels. The rum undergoes a unique distillation process known as “double-distillation,” which involves removing impurities through a second distillation, resulting in a smoother and cleaner spirit.
